Obligatory day before post for the meetup on saturday

it looks like therell be a high of 70 with a low somewhere around 50 please dress accordingly. Its not supposed to rain so thats one less thing youve to worry about. Please no grey paint do not make me scrub you down. Please use discretion when contemplating bringing horns or not. Being a nice saturday, there will probably be a lot of families there and while some children may think the horns are completely neato, some may not share the same views. If you would like to bring your horns, id advise carrying them around and putting them on for pictures.

Bringing food is a-okay and considering the time, we may head straight to a pavilion to get food and introduce ourselves so its an open area and those carrying around food wont have to carry it around for too long.

We’ll be meeting at the giant lion statues near the main entrance on connecticut street. You get off at the woodley park metro stop and youve to walk a bit but its not too far.

The meetup begins at eleven and will go to four thirty or five.  Well be waiting around the main entrance for some time but if youre late please say so so were not waiting for an hour.

I think thats about it. If you feel the need to have my phone number to check in with me, please send me an ask and ill be happy to give that to you or to answer any questions you may have.

I hope to see you all there!

Okay, so i was going to host a meetup at the national zoo on the 27th (next saturday)!! It’s a cosplay meetup, but as always, that’s optional, though i would like to say please NO PAINT (including the face paint of the makaras) and please please please use your own discretion with the horns. You have to remember youre in a public setting where they can be off putting and not everyone understands your creativity and drive to cosplay your favorite character as best as you can! As always, the zoo is free but food is expensive. If you’d like, you can bring something to eat and/or share with everyone! We’ll be walking about the zoo and eventually stop at a pavilion for lunch.

Where; We’ll be meeting at the lion entrance of the national zoo

When; April 27th from 11 - 5  (though youre welcome to come late or leave early)

Cost; It’s free! Though you may want to consider bringing food to share!

PLEASE remember you’re in public and behave accordingly! If i see anyone behaving poorly ill call you out on it and ask you to rethink your choices and once again NO GREY PAINT

if you have any questions, feel free to shoot me an ask!!

Meetup Information!!

Hey guys! This is the obligatory night-before post! Just wanted to clear up some things.

Tomorrow, we’ll head into DC to watch the 12:15 showing of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Please be prompt. Early would be even better! We’ll be heading into the theater 15 minutes early to get seats. My friend and I will be waiting at the Metro Center for about 20 minutes before that, waiting for anyone that shows up. From the Metro Center stop, it’s a five minute walk to the cinema! It’s $11 a ticket, $9 if you show your student ID (though I’m fuzzy on those details). I would caution you to bring extra money just in case.

We’ll probably get lunch after the movie as there are a coupla shops around the area?? From there, we can either disperse OR continue on to something else, it’s really up to you guys.

Concerning cosplay!! You can dress up if you like! Although, I’m going to ask if you plan on being a troll, please, no grey paint and no horns! The weather looks like it may rain and has a high of 73, with a low of 46 so please dress accordingly.

Please be on your VERY BEST behavior! This is a public place, not just the national mall! We can and may get kicked out if we are being too loud or rambunctious. So just… Keep that in mind.

TL;DR:

Get your ass to the Metro Center stop by 11:50.

We’re walking to the cinema which may take a while.

Bring money for tickets ($11) and food (??).

No grey paint or horns.

Be on your best fucking behavior.

If you have any questions, direct them towards my ask box.

If you would like my phone number just in case, I’d like to direct you towards my ask box.

If there’s anything you think I’m forgetting, ask box.

OTHER THAN THAT.

I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow 0u0
